Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control is an advanced approach to regulating selected industrial and agricultural activities while achieving a high level of environmental protection as a whole.
IPPC involves treating wooden packaging in a drying chamber by heating it to a minimum temperature of 56 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes at the core of the wood, thereby eliminating any pests. Treated packaging is marked with an IPPC stamp bearing a specific license number.
